Common Questions and Issues
Why I don't see any stats?
The most common reason why you don't see stats is because the codes may have been altered by
MySpace's filtering system when you saved your profile. If you entered the code, but go back to
your edit profile page and see:
<a img src="http://.../tracker/.gif">
Note the "..." in between "http" and "/tracker". This is the MySpace filter in action. If you see this
go get updated tracker codes from the tracker code page.
We try to stay on top of the MySpace filtering system, but if you see this same pattern even after you
replace the codes again, please contact us using the form below; and we will fix this as soon as humanly possible.

I only see IP addresses and Unknown's, should I not be able to see the profile pics of those visiting me?
The profile tracker works by tracking the IP of each visitor on your page; and cross referencing
that IP address to a database of over half a million members. If the IP address is not in the database however,
ProfileSnitch returns as much information as it can – including the IP address and the location from
where the hit originated from.
MySpace Trackers all work using this same mechanism. It used to be possible to find out almost everytime
who the visitor was using a some very sophisticated hacks known as cookie jacking. However
MySpace has now made this technique impossible, and to this day there is no way to automate with 100%
certainty who actually visited your profile 100% of the time.
What can I do with these IP Addresses and how do I figure out who they are?
As a premium member you have access to a variety of tools to help you determine
who your unknown visitors are.
One way to figure out who that visitor is, is to use the "Visit History" view. Click on a visitor's history and
compare it to when someone posted a comment on your Profile. The approximate time that they placed a comment on your
page should correspond with a visit somewhere in your visit history for your unknown visitor.
Also use the map and location information to narrow down your possibilities.

What is a label?
Labels are used to mark entries in your stats as a user or name if you have figured out who they are. You can mark Ip Addresses as well
as users. You will also see labels created by other users in your stats!
To label a user simply click the "Label This" link, and fill in a Friend ID or name and picture URL. ProfileSnitch will now display your label
whenever this user visits you.
